As well as printing full colour vinyl sheets, in other words vinyl panels, we can contour cut lettering and logos out of plain white, coloured or printed vinyl. If you require vehicle lettering or vehicle graphics (branding for your van, personalised graphics for your bike or maybe you need a name applied to your boat), we can assist with printed and/or cut vinyl for those uses and more. If you order vinyl cut letters from us to apply at home or work, we supply the vinyl graphics mounted neatly on application tape so they are nicely aligned and ready to apply.
Using our Roland Versacamm eco-solvent printer, we can also create special finish vinyl-cut lettering. for your shop sign. For instance, metallic silver letters or metallic gold letters or other specialist
vinyls. We can apply your cut vinyl lettering to any of our printed sign boards.
Our machine requires a cutting path around all the shapes it must cut so we ideally need lettering and logos in a vector format rather than a picture format such as .jpg, .png, .gif. Please supply an .eps, .svg, .ai, .cdr, or .wmf file or perhaps you have a vector logo in a pdf file? If you do not have this, please just send us what you have and we can either help, advise and/or re-do the artwork. Once it is all in text and vector format, we will add a ‘CutContour’ outline to all the relevant parts. The machine prints the vinyl first if appropriate and then goes back and cuts all the outlines. We then remove the excess vinyl with tweezers.
Vinyl graphics jobs vary greatly and will normally have some or all of the following stages: Printing the design onto the appropriate type and grade of vinyl, laminating the vinyl, machine cutting the vinyl into individual letters and/or shapes, weeding out the excess vinyl, trimming down into smaller sections, strips or stickers, covering the vinyl with application tape to hold it all together, peeling and applying the vinyl to the finished item (e.g. sign, window, vehicle). Therefore as well as knowing the size of the printed or unprinted vinyl panels required, we also need to calculate the labour, machine time and other materials involved. For this reason, we recommend you measure up and then contact us for an estimate.
